Great atmosphere and very good nouvelle cuisine dishes and great wine cellar. Try to make a reservation because it is always almost full.

Was in the area and walked in. Place had nice decor but was empty. We sat down and saw the menu. Prices were very high and I thought both Judy and I had made a mistake. But anyway, we ordered and we were really surprised by the quality of the food, innovative cuisine and excellent taste. This is a cuisine that uses Mexican ingredients to make surprisingly "different" dishes. Aside for the soup (some kind of artichoke) the rest of the food was really excellent. The deserts where outstanding, in particular "yesterday vegetables?). All said, at the end I did not mind the prices because I did not feel cheated. Service was good, not outstanding, but the sommelier was very nice and helpfull. BTW, when we left (4 PM) the place was absolutely full. All in all great!

I highly recommend to take the "Menu Degustacion", which offers an interminable series of reinvented and rearranged mexican dishes. it will give you a full panorama of the variety Mexican cuisine has to offer. Just let yourself be guided and mesmerized.

Besides, the staff knows its game, just like in Michelin-starred restaurants, yet very friendly and discreet, able to explain it all at every stage. This business lunch that was scheduled for 1h30 lasted 3 hours.

Theres not much I didnt like about Paxia... Nice decor, excellent service, excellent food- the artichoke soup is a must!!! While prices are higher than usual for Mexico, its still pretty reasonable for 5 star dining. We had a cocktail upon arrival, entrees, mains and desert, a half bottle of wine per person and a shot of tequila or coffee to finish and paid about 1000 pesos per person including tip. Not too shabby... would go back again!
