Jaso is known as a trendy place with good food. I found it average and noisy. To be absolutely honest, I think their breads are pretty good. To me, a restaurant is good when you remember what you ate.
The place is trendy, nice people around, service is just ok and food average. Needless to say it is pricy.

It was a unique experience full of flavors and the attention was excelent. The smoking area is do romantic that you can go there and forget about the city's and daily life problems, while having a delicious dinner and a wonderful dessert (don't forget the dessert)

Jaso might not be rated at the same level of Biko or Pujol in Mexico City, but I definitely love going back. It was a Monday evening to celebrate my wife's b-day, so there were very few tables and us (table of 14!!!), so we definetely livened the place ourselves. They have always been accomodating, and this time, following my request, they set up the table in a way (square) so we could all share in our conversations (we Latins need that!!) Food and Pre-fix portions are generous (it includes 1 "amous bouche", 2 appetizers, 3 main + 2 desserts) an the madeleines that come with the coffee are awesome....at the end they gave each of the ladies a gift box with a pastry from their bakery, which was a nice end to a very enjoyable night. I will keep coming back!!

Great ambiance, attentive and courteous service, great dish presentations. Food is to die for. A great fine dining choice in DF.

Nice space. Salty food. Generous staff. Diarrhea for everyone the next morning. A happy birthday indeed...
