Condesa DF is a hipster boutique hotel (that's not a bad thing) that serves great food. The menu is simple and has great modern interpretations of Mexican classics. We stayed close by to the hotel and really enjoyed our meal there.

This is the kind of hotels that pretends to be all fancy and modern but employees dont get the appropriate training to serve guests.
I have been there today for breakfast and everythimg took forever. My benecditines eggs came with a regular ham and no sauce.
No salt, napkins, water.....

Beautiful place but badly served

Loved the off-beat boutiques and sidewalk cafe's. My favourite was the great organic juices & fresh foods at the Buena Tierra near Michoacán & Tamaulipas streets.

I stayed at the Condesa DF a year ago and submitted the corresponding review then - this review concerns the restaurant - while the food is delicious and the place quite agreeable, the service needs a little more attention - we were there for a special brunch for a football final - while the manager was very kind and accomodating, as soon as his table of friends arrived, he became oblivious to the rest of the tables (3) I had to ask for things several times and when they finally arrived, they were wrong! The man on the table next to me ordered a tequila they brought limes but no salt, napkins were no where to be found...

I do not intend for this review to be detrimental or overly critic, Grupo Habita has a fantastic reputation and its hotels are the epitome of chic-cool, yet in general, service is far from impecable. Heads up!!

One las thing... Grupo Habita hotels claim to be 100% pet friendly... While my not so tiny pup was welcomed everywhere, he was served water in a plastic take away lid... I'm sure they can invest in a few doggie plates... Image gents, image!!!

Not worth the hefty price tag. Additionally, the service on the rooftop is abysmal. The view is nice, though.
