“Great Place to Relax”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

The restaurant itself is a formal (white tablecloth), hacienda style restaurant; a great place for a business lunch or dinner. Business can resume after the meal at seats surrounding the central courtyard where one can enjoy a drink in a very relaxed atmosphere. The service and food are excellent.

“Relax outside, have a beer a taco and enjoy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

My co-workers brought me here last week, and I was in Paradise. We sat outside and enjoyed serenity, beauty, the beer and tacos. I never felt so relaxed at a restaurant! Great service too. Enjoy

“A colonial gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

The food and ambience at the San Angel are top notch, with a varied menu of both purely Mexican and continental items. The margaritas there are famed, and justifiably so - brought in chilled tiny metal pitcher, they are not sweet at all and very refreshing. Service is good, and there is a mariachi band on high quality, providing background music. The decor is that of a beautiful colonial era mansion, and very well kept, with a beautifully landscaped courtyard.
