Our driver recommended this restaurant which was a few blocks from our hotel in the Centro Historico. It is only open for breakfast and lunch. We had lunch after a long day on the Turibus. They bring you tortillas and a bowl that contained avocado, Mexican "feta" cheese and a hot green sauce. We ordered an appetizer of cheese with squash flowers wrapped iin a leaf--the cheese tasted similar to mozzarella and was very mild and good. I had sea bass in a chili sauce (very good) with rice and cactus; my husband had chicken mole--the best we have every had! We had a cheese flan for dessert--very nice, but we were cheesed out by this time (we believe the waiter misunderstood our final order). Service was impeccable and prices reasonable. Be seated on the second or third floor--more private than the first.
