“Nice place, very good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2012

Cozy, informal restaurant in the heart of Condesa. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. The waitress spoke just enough English, and with my tiny Spanish, everything went smoothly. Her recommendations were excellent. Seared/raw tuna to start. Just the right size for an appetizer, with an herb mayo sauce. Delicious. For main a special of baked cannelloni stuffed with shrimp, with a cheese sauce. Also very delicious. Had a cabernet that was quite good. Finished with a fine, rich espresso. The price was a bit higher than some other places, but the value was excellent, and by US standards a great bargain. Save room for dessert, there's a good pastry shop right next door.

“Delicious food, romantic atmosphere in the heart of Condesa”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2012

We enjoyed several meals here during our stay in D.F. Has a few vegetarian options, vegans will have to do with an appetizer and/or salad. The pappardelle with pesto and pine nuts was fragrant and perfectly cooked, and the linguini funghi was rich and filling. The mushroom appetizer served with a mole salsa is fantastic. They have a decent selection of wines and a variety of cocktails. The service is usually good, but sometimes slow if it gets crowded. The atmosphere reminded me of a candle-lit French bistro, and there's rotating art on the walls.

“good environment for meeting friends”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2011

its a simple menu, most food is good, although nothing gourmet. The place is nice and it has a good environment if you want to meet up with friends for dinner or drinks.

“Excellent First dining experience in the Condesa”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2011

After stumbling upon this little cafe whilst looking for a drink, decided to stay & make it our first dining experience in Mex City. Great server who was helpful with suggestions for cervasa and substitute red wine when our initial selection was unavailable.
Start with the deep fried Camembert which were crispy & tasty without being greasy. The special scallops provençal was a bit overlook & over salted but still good. Followed I with a simple spaghetti Provençal which I really enjoyed (not overly salted) for its simplicity while my partner had entrecôte served with fries served with tasty well seasoned sauce. Finally shared a chocolate fondant which was neither too sweet or harshly bitter.
Both very satisfied with whole dining experience and highly recommend.

“Wonderful neighborhood restaurant in Condesa.”

I went here for dinner with friends on a rainy Friday evening. The service is good and the food is wonderful. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Mexico City.
