“Cheap and Good tacos”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

Tacos pastor are the best - made with pork. Very busy at lunch hours... The chicken tacos are also good and the grilled cheese is a good starter

“Just great TACOs and a beer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

Loved sitting out doors and having a cold beer and a few different tacos. No one does it better in Mexico City. Great service too. Always a favorite spot

“Solid Tacos and Great Customer Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

Our first evening in Mexico City, we decided to do a taco tour of three spots in Condesa that had been recommended to us- El Tizoncito, El Farolito, and El Califa. The latter won out on ambiance and customer service. When our server learned that we were new to Mexico City, he took us on a tour of the kitchen and explained their different taco options and sauces to us. We ordered bistec, ribeye and quest, and chicken tacos. All were solid. I would recommend this place to someone who wants to eat an authentic taco in a nice, but maybr not so authentic atmosphere.
