In this intimate restaurant I had the pleasure to enjoy the very best of the Mexican cuisine. A delightful 6 course menu entertains you from the beginning to the end: smells, textures, colors, shapes, flavors.
10 Magna cum laude.

Amazing service, great food, strong presentation, good wine list, very competent sommelier, very strong 9 course meal and good tequila selection to finish. I was astonished by the delivery of excellent and exciting fusion composites. Really enjoyed it and would be back any time if back in Mexico City. Thank you, Pujol for this great experience!

I lived in France for 25 years so I know good cuisine. Therefore, I went to Pujol last night with high expectations. After all, it's ranked 20th best restaurant in the world, down from 17th last year. To be honest, it was a huge disappointment from the first weird dish which was basically shaved ice with a tasteless green liquid poured over it to the puddle of mole towards the end. It does not merit its reputation, as several native friends of Mexico City told me but I went anyway. The service is attentive and professional but all in all, the food is nothing special, nothing to rave about and certainly undeserving of a restaurant ranked in the top 50 in the world. One last note, if the restaurant gets a taxi for you on your way home, you will be overcharged at least twice the real price. Best to book a cab in advance.

We had a decadent 8-course meal at this restaurant and the food was imaginative and delicious. It is quite expensive, but for foodies it is worth the price. The hostess and wait staff were all friendly and spoke good English. Do not eat a big lunch if you are going to fine here, because the amount of food was substantial.

I am not accustomed to 'fancy' dining, but when a friend from Chicago came to visit me in Mexico City and invited me to dine with him at Pujol, one of the 20 best restaurants in the world, how could I refuse. I was concerned I would feel uncomfortable, but I couldn't have been more off track. From the moment I made the reservation with a friendly, efficient hostess to entering the low key ambience, I was comfortable. The food is a fusion of Mexican ingredients, spices, flavors, presented elegently and unassuming. The waiters were knowledgeable and right away offered to speak English to accommodate my friends. We were treated to some unusual foods like ant eggs and fried kale, as well as the popular Mexican moles, elote. tortillas, .....and topped off with peanut ice cream. The surprise it that it isn't even that expensive.....all depending on how much alcohol you consume, which is always the case!
