“An inevitable classic when you look for exclusive & top service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

After you step in, you can easily feel the smell & taste of England. Impeccable service (they seem to read your mind and anticipate your needs and wishes). Live music is often played (piano). Great place either for a business lunch or a romantic occasion.

“Quality food at a price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

Being from the other side of the water myself I had great expectations for this place and in general it did not let me down. The service was very good, the food was also great. The only exception to this was the Sherry Trifle which, although it tasted good, was not traditional at all and was a very basic version of the dish.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and ticks all the boxes that you would want when searching for a restaurant like this.

One thing that I would have to mention is the price. This place is very expensive, exaggerated in my opinion. If you are looking for a classic British restaurant and don't mind paying through the nose then you will not go wrong with this place. If you are on any kind of a budget best avoid.

This is an extraordinary reminder of great food, great atmosphere and impecable service.
Every single detail is taken into consideration, the food is amazing. I would strongly recommend the Fillet of Beef Wellington. Take your time and enjoy an amazing experience.

“Pricy but Good Food and Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

Winston Churchill's has good British food in the middle of Polanco. The lobster bisque is very good, the salads are nice and the steaks are good. The atmosphere is a little stuffy, but the service is very polite and good. It is a bit pricy; certainly you can get food as good in the area for a lower price, but is nice for a change. In the evenings they have a piano player in the dining room who plays mostly US/British songs.
