Description: SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL'S was created in 1972 by Rey Fernandez and his English wife Jane Pearson. They transformed a Tudor-style family mansion in Polanco into a well loved Restaurant that has become a famous landmark in Mexico City. Churchill's continues to amaze new customers as well as it's faithful clientele alike with the outstanding quality of it's food and a dedicated service for over 40 years. The delicious meals which include traditional favourites like Beef Wellington and Prime Rib of Roast Beef compete with the new daily specialities created by Churchill's talented Chef from France. A visit to Churchill's is an experience to be savoured as it is a true oasis in the very heart of Mexico City.

Excellent place for lunch or dinner. The food is superb, specially meat is so tasty and well served with traditional British side dishes and a variety of mustards. The place is a bit old-fashion, even the staff, but the service is excellent as well. They have a good selection of British beers. It's a bit pricey but the food totally worth it.

Super atmosphere in an english house with great international menu, great for a romantic dinner. As you enter you can travel in time and place to Old England.

This is an aging classic, you can feel it from the minute you walk in the place, you can tell that important deals have been struck there over what is probably the best roast beef in the city.

They serve it exactly how it ahould be served, in the thickness that you choose acoompanied with very good mustards that complement but dont obstruct the taste of the very good meat. For starters the oxtail soup is delicious but the best part of this place is definitely the ambiance.

Churchill's is a very nice place, easy to access and with sufficient parking. Prior to entering the restaurant, which is inside of an old, but well maintained british-style castle, you may enjoy a drink outside in the lovely garden. Inside you find different spaces, again very british, with background piano music and very fasta and friendly service. The menue is complete and there are some typical plates from the UK, but also something for the pure mexican taste. Meat is excellent, all the entrees looked and tasted very nice and the desert is tempting and also tasty. The main dish is very generously served.
I definitively will come back to this place, although it's a bit expensive
