Worth trying. Reduced menu but you do not need more. Everything is excellent, my favourite place in Mexico City for Spanish food and Spanish wine

“BAD.”
Reviewed February 21, 2014 via mobile

Don't go if you didn't reserve.
Absolutely NO walk-ins.
I went today, the place was empty,
Just one busy table,
Party of 3,
We had to leave.

“Our favourite spanish entrees (starters)”
Reviewed October 27, 2013 via mobile

This tiny restaurant, always busy, is an excellent spanish "taberna", especially if host, Jean Claude, is there to greet you. He will make your meal a most enjoyable and memorable experience. That is what makes a fine restaurant an outstanding one. Try the "setas al ajillo" (mushrooms) old world delicacy, delicious.

“Nice place”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

I have been there 3 times with family and friends and wanted to write a review for a long time but it wasn't available on this site. Nice restaurant with owner/chef "chanclas" always running the place and tending to clients. Spanish cuisine with simple and very tasty menu, I had the "chorizo al vino tinto" and the "pantomate" as appetizers (every time since my first visit) really good. As an entree the fish with baby eels and the solomillo with caramelized onions are great. The place is small and It gets full so make a reservation the day before or early the same day.
