Owner description: Our guided Mexican food tours and Mexican cooking lessons are seriously fun. In our Mexican food tours you'll visit some off the beaten path locations in Mexico City, a paradise for foodies. You'll taste food from a variety of one-of-a-kind Mexican eateries while receiving the locals' view into the culture and architecture. Enjoy new culinary perspectives, new flavors, bright smiles, and the opportunity to understand better where and how the locals eat & live. Our goal is that you eat like the locals and get a clear idea of the authentic Mexican Cuisine. Between tastings, you'll experience the life of Mexico City's residents, the so-called "Chilangos", as you enjoy walking around fascinating neighborhoods like Polanco or lovely and authentic markets such as Mercado de San Juan located in Centro Histórico. In our Mexican cooking lessons, you'll cook some delicious Mexican dishes with and expert Mexican chef, an unforgettable experience. We run tours all year round. All food tastings and drinks are included in the ticket price. **Our Polanco food tour ends close to the Anthropology Museum (walking distance), so you might consider spending the rest of your day in the most important museum of our country.

I can't say enough positive things about this food tour or our guide, Connie. The tour set the stage for a WONDERFUL visit to Mexico City. We sampled moles, black bean soup, tacos, various sweets and of course a bit of pulque. Connie is well-informed, gracious, funny and all around delight to have as a guide. We used her recommendations throughout the rest of our stay in Mexico City and loved them all. I would absolutely recommend this to friends, family and anyone who likes to eat ever. Thank you Connie y nos vemos!

My husband I took the Mexico City Food walking tour of Polanco with guide, Jimena, and another guest who is a local food writer. We started straightaway with a sampling of moles, cold tea of Hoja Santa and chia in a very nice restaurant kitchen setting. It was wonderful to taste the different moles side by side and compare them. Afterwards we began our walk, an expedition into the varied flavors, dishes, and cooking methods common to traditional Mexican cuisine. The venues varied from upscale restaurants to one room off-the-street Mom and Pop places, all with a common thread: great food. In addition, there were pairings with traditional beverages like the aforementioned Hoja Santa tea, pulque and mezcal. Toward the end of the tour, we visited a chocolatier and an ice cream parlor both of which included local tastes and ingredients in their selections such as mezcal and chilango chocolates, and mameya ice cream. All were delicious! As an aside, I do not drink alcohol, so provisions were made for me in place of drinks -- such as an extra ice cream.
Along the path, Jimena showed us points of interest and we saw the beautiful parks and streets of Polanco. The tour ended within walking distance of Bosque Chapultepec and the Museo Nacional de Antropología. It is a very fun and tasty tour and we recommend it!
Extra Info: The neighborhood is beautiful and very safe. The walking is light, but wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen if need be. We tipped everywhere, as it is appreciated - not required. The cost of the food and drinks is included in the price of the tour. The teas ice are made from purified water. Enjoy!

Took the tour with my girlfriend - it was a great choice. We visited six different places in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Mexico City, tasting moles, tamales, tacos, soups, handmade chocolates mixed with local exotic fruits, and artisan ice cream.
The food was delicious, and the "restaurant-hopping" made for a great way of enjoying our food and the neighborhood.
Either if you are completely new to real Mexican food, or want to taste new flavors around the city this is a great way to learn more.

If you are visiting Mexico City, this should be on your must-do list. This walking tour takes you through the streets of the beautiful Polanco neighbourhood while making frequent stops to let you enjoy the rich Mexican cuisine. There are different tastes along the way and your tour guide Conny Estefan is amazing. You will leave the tour with a smile on your face, a happy tummy and a greater appreciatian for Mexican food. Buen provecho :)

My friend and I are so delighted to have found this food tour! It was amazing! The chocolate tasting was our favorite and que Bo! Offers many exotic chocolates (from guanabana to tamarind). Our guide Connie was very knowledgeable about not only the food, but also the city, taking us through beautiful parks and explaining the history of various statues and monuments. We would highly recommend this tour!!
