Good place. Gazpacho is like the gazpacho you would find in Andalucia. Artichokes are pretty good. Croquetas like gazpacho, you would find the same in Spain. The tomato tartar was cool too. Overall, very good Spanish place, hard to find out of Spain. De un madrileño.

I've eaten six times in this place! they have a fee good dishes, but they are highly inconsistent in quality, in fact today was the worse experience I had in bar tomate. I'm quite sure the recipes are good, but the cooks are substandard. I strongly recommend going to Guria or other spanish food restaurants than this one. It's popular for its location, but it's not great.

We were shopping in the Polanco neighborhood and asked the LV folks for a rec for a snack and drink. They sent us upstairs to Bar Tomate. We had a liht snack of ahi tuna with avocado and a side of herbed shrimp. The ambiance was fantastic, and I'd love to come back here for dinner on my next trip.

Had a great business lunch here. Very ample space in a city that is often crowded.. Very stylish restaurant with creative and fresh cuisine.

This restaurant is different, beautiful; nice concept. I took a group of 27 people and the result was 50/50. 50% of participants enjoyed drinks, tapas and food. 50% asked the restaurant to change the "cochinillo" they ordered, as it did not smell good and tasted really bad.

Think they can do much better.
