I had a casual late lunch today and did not get tired of complimenting the excelent food quality. All the dishes I tried, from starters to desserts, were absolutely delicious. I am a native Mexican and I can say, by judjing the price-quality ratio, that is is certainly one of the best options to have an authentic Mexican meal. The menu covers essentially all the main Mexican dishes from most of the country's most popular regions, and has some more international-friendly dishes for those who are not too adventurous. The beverages could be colder but the coffee is very good. Service is a bit slow so do not get there too hungry.

First of all call on Sunday, they may be open in the evening. They haven't changed their website yet.

All around great food. From appetizer to desert we didn't have a single dish we didn't like. Moles were excellent. Great bar selection that specializes in Mezcal. Didn't order wine but noticed the list book was fairly hefty when another table ordered.

Great music that didn't interfere with the conversation. Staff was very attentive and right. There when you needed them. The decor needs to be seen. You're having dinner in a park with huge trees and hanging lantern. The glass roof covers in inclement weather.

On my latest visit to Mexico City I decided to have lunch in the Centro Historico with a fiend just so we could try this restaurant. What a disappointment! Although it is set in a pretty courtyard, The service was terrible and my fish (legendario pescado Ticin Xic) was awful - surely not fresh. We had the ceviche verde as an appetizer and it was average. My friend's mole negro was good, but not worth a detour. To top it off, we walked through the hotel shops (this restaurant is set in a hotel) and found most things to be ridiculously expensive. We are both native Mexicans and found this to be a rip off. You are better off just having coffee in the courtyard and eating somewhere else!

After a morning of sight seeing this is a great place to relax for a long afternoon lunch. We got there in early afternoon by 2pm it was busy with locals and even a Mexican TV star (we asked the waiter) with a camera crew doing some kind of lunch interview. We had several courses but our favorite was the Black Mole dish. It was little duck dumpling packets artfully stacked and topped with the best black mole we had. Service was was fine - but this is a restaurant to linger in so the service is also relaxed.

The setting is very nice - the sky's were a bit threatening so while we were there they deployed the roof - it worked. The shops around the restaurant are worth a look, high quality and as such very pricey.

The food here was fabulous and the outdoor garden setting in the interior plaza with that perfectly trimmed tree overhead is unique and stunning. The place was packed with locals and everything we saw people ordering looked amazing. Our dishes were fantastic and I would absolutely go back. The Guanabana Margarita is delicious!
