My husband and I were staying at a cute hotel, Condessa Haus, in Condessa in Mexico City and we asked for restaurant recommendations. The hotel manager referred us to this Bistrot and we are so happy he did! The food was excellent - I had Chicken Cantonese style and could not stop eating it because it was so delicious. My husband ordered the escargot bourgignion and was pleasantly surprised. I cannot speak as to the wine, since we were there the day before the elections and drinking was prohibited. The first thing the waiter said to us was: "may I offer you a fine limonada or coca cola?" They did have an extensive wine list and a full bar, and I suspect that the drinks are quite good. The menu is largely French, as are the desserts. It's a little pricey - two meals without drinks = 800mx, but the venue is nice.

We had six hours between our connecting flights at Mexico City Airport so we decided as it was 7.30 to have dinner at Bistrot Mosaico, which is located right next door to the Hilton Hotel.

Bistrot Mosaico is an attractive French bistro with a cosy, relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. We had a very enjoyable and tasty meal and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to eat at the airport.
