“Excelent place but service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

Drinks ambience and food are great, we tried the tuna tostadas, pasta and great beers later the vodka came..:@ its a shame the service we have to ask several times for ours drinks, but we understood because it was full of precopeo grils

“With a Capital 'C'”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

In a trendy neighborhood, as La Condesa, options are rather social than gourmand. An exception would be La Capital that offers very good plates (ceviche and desserts are very good). Be specific about the temperature of beer (mild vs. cold). A little pricy. Pushy waiters... but nothing you couldn't handle.

“Excellent food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013

Really enjoyed our meal at La Capital. Fish dishes were inventive and delicious and the desserts were fab. We had the chocolate dessert and the apple tart, both took 20 minutes but were worth the wait. Service was good too and they called us a cab. Highly recommend.

“The best tuna tostadas in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2013

Very chic place. If you want, yo can almost eat only tuna tostadas. They are amazing. But if you want something else, try risotto or octopuss, they are also great. For dessert, have the strawberry merengue or chocolate cake with chile ancho - strange combination but very tasty-. Also they have nice selection of beers. A+

“Great food, great room”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2013

It's easy to miss La Capital, but well worth seeking it out. The food and service were excellent. Fellow guests at the nearby Red Tree House had recommended the guacamole and it was delicious, served with plantain and other vegetable chips. A shrimp ceviche was also outstanding as was this pastel de chocolate.
