My wife and I got into Mexico City late Saturday evening and wanted something close to our hotel in the Centro Historico. The front desk folks named this one among a few other options and I was intrigued by the name and the opportunity to try some authentic Spanish cuisine. We walked the couple of blocks and were seated immediately. As is typical of restaurants in the DF the walls were covered with photos of the owners posing with celebrity guests. The decor transports you to the Spanish countryside and the menu has something for almost everyone. My "house specialty" red snapper was okay but not the best I've had in Mexico. My wife didn't fare much better with her steak. So don't go for the food - go for the atmosphere. There may be other menu items that they do better. I'll go back but I don't think my wife will!
