My bed was extremely comfortable, the shower excellent, my particular room on 1st floor was very quiet but it had no access to the terrace or to a view. I found it a bit too expensive in comparison with other hotels in the area. The breakfast was very nice and well presented. Quiet, safe area, 12 minutes walk to Chapultepec Metro Station, close to the Park and its Museums and the Castle. Taxis find it difficult to locate it because the street goes across a very large avenue, and the outside does not reveal it is a hotel, it looks like a private mansion.

I stayed with my parents at Villa Condesa when they came to visit me as I was doing my doctoral research in Mexico City, and although I only stayed a few nights, I felt so at home with the owners, Daysi and Homero, and there wonderful chef Pedro, that Villa Condesa became my second home. Villa Condesa is a charming, exquisitely designed oasis in the beautiful, safe neighborhood of la Condesa, close to everything imaginable. The patio is so quiet with its serene fountain that you would have no idea that you are in the middle of the most chaotic city in the world. But what really makes the hotel is Daysi and Homero, the owners, and their incredibly sweet and attentive staff. They went beyond the call of duty and treated me like family both during and after my stay. I loved this place so much that I recommended it to my cousin after my parents came, and he also adored the place and the owners. I even had my small goodbye party in the courtyard. I can't possibly recommend a better hotel in Mexico City. On top of everything wonderful about this place, it is very reasonably priced. The perfect place to stay for work, as a romantic getaway, or even alone, as you have the option for privacy and also for making lifelong friends.

Room Tip: they are all excellent rooms

How nice to stay in a home, all be it an elegant renovated mansion hotel, rather than a room in a chain hotel that could be in any city in the world. Here you get a feel for the suburb of Colonia Roma and with all the nearby excellent restaurants and easy access to the Metro and nearby park.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a private balcony

This little ten-room Bed and Breakfast is a great spot in the middle of Condesa. It is an old mansion remodeled into a modern, new hotel. There is no sign out front, so you don't know you've arrived until to ring the bell and they let you in-a very nice "homy" touch.
The rooms are lovely and the patio where we ate was great-whether eating breakfast or having a glass of wine in the evening. Great value, great spot.

The hotel is beautiful, service is impeccable. I was also very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food in the restaurant. The free happy hour was a nice touch as well. Don't miss the Pasteleria Suiza nearby!!

My friend and i stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of november and were very happy with our stay. The staff were very helpful, the girls on reception helped us book all our tours which were great (Taxco and the pyramids) and also helped us with restaurant recommendations and bookings. The rooms and bed were comfortable, nice big clean bathroom. They have a free happy hour from 6-7 each night where you can help yourself to wine/beer which is a nice touch. Breakfast is also very good with daily mexican specials. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was pretty good it was just a shame there was none else there as it lacked ambience.
Its situated in a lovely safe neighbourhood, and easy to walk to catch the turibus as well as to nearby restaurants and bars.

i trusted the reviews here, and i was not surprised. the hotel was as nice, clean, and comfortable as stated. our group of 4 stayed there and really found it to be a great location for exploring MEX city. Very safe area of town and lots of places to eat. The breakfasts were good, especially the Eggs Ranchero.. The staff was very friendly. I would stay there again.
