We stayed at Villa Condesa for 3 days. We would absolutely stay there again and we highly recommend it. The hotel itself is layed out in a modern way, from the glass enclosed dining room to the upstairs balcony. The ambience is very relaxing and we would happily have spent the time with a glass of wine upstairs - the daily happy hour is a welcome idea. Breakfast is well done and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is also in a great location - the Condesa neighborhood is green, peaceful and felt very safe. It is also a fairly quick taxi ride to the center of town at the Zocalo. Great value for money. Staying at this hotel made our good experience in Mexico City into a great experience.

Room Tip: There is an upstairs room with it's own private balcony that we would request next time - our fr...

We stayed here in early June 2013. After an 8 hour day starting on Vancouver Island, we found our way to Villa Condesa stopping first at the Hotel Villa Condesa around the corner (not the same place at all!). We stayed a week, and after waking each day we were treated to an authentic Mexican breakfast -- the coffee (from Mexico, where else!), was to die for. Staff were very polite, spoke English for the most part (and we could speak our halting Spanish without shame), and were very helpful in planning our day. Once home at the end of the day (we tried to make happy hour at 6 when we would be treated to wine or cold beer), we would come through the gate and melt into the garden/court area, lush, green -- an oasis in the middle of a wonderful but challenging city. And yes, the Tortilla Soup is worth the trip all on its own! We essentially ate everything on offer on their menu, all done with attention to authentic Mexican, and found everything delicious. This little snug is close to Chapultepec Park, one of the largest urban parks anywhere, the anthropology museum, museum of modern art, and much, much more -- all within walking distance. The owners are usually around at some point in the day, and they are like friends now. We will definitely be back soon!

Room Tip: We like being up. Second floor has some very elegant rooms.

If I were to return to MX City, I would stay return to Hotel Villa Condesa. They are accommodating, professional, clean, polite, and very helpful. The owner brought my bags up to my room and I had no idea he was the owner!! Thanks Hotel Villa Condesa and staff for making my stay worthwhile.

We loved our stay at Villa Condesa. Small, intimate, personalized attention, zen-like oasis in the city. We liked our breakfast and were also pleased the kitchen was open for lunch and dinner. On a rainy night we had a most delicious tortilla soup. The neighborhood is great for walking around. Lots of bars and restaurants. We will definitely stay there on our next visit to Mexico City.

Room Tip: We stayed upstairs in room 110. King bed, very comfortable.

This adorable little villa will give you a family feel in the big city. Homero, the owner, and his staff will make you feel at home including delicious breakfasts and concierge service. We stayed there for five days and left with friends and knowledge of the beautiful DF.

We have been to DF several times but always stayed in the Historic center. We decided that a quieter neighborhood like Condesa/Roma would be more relaxing for this trip, and were happy to find short notice availability here.

Our room was comfortable and pleasant, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and we were very happy there. Condesa and Roma are safe, walkable and quiet neighborhoods just a short ride from most of the places you will want to visit.

This place was quite the surprise. It looked good on-line, but it really impressed us upon arrival. Very discreet, no signage and really secure, the property is right in the perfect location. The staff and owner were always there to serve, 24 hrs a day. The owner and his wife were there cooking breakfast on Sunday as well, which made the experience great. The included breakfast and happy hour were very satisfactory as well, with fresh fruits and specials every day. Overall, as a traveler and foodie, I will definitely stay here again.
