I visited the Chapultepec Castle during a business trip in Mexico City in July 2014. The castle is located very high up a mountain, most people prefer taking a "train" up the castle which costs about 13 pesos. The Castle itself was surprisingly very big and has an amazing view of the city. If you are into art and history this is a must go to. You can walk around the castle and follow a story line of each room of what has happened and what the rooms represents. It is all in spanish but still worth it to see the castle, arts, garden, ballroom, jewelry etc.
Loved this castle, and the entrance fee is worth the view, the history, beautiful castle and gardens upstairs were an added bonus. I was so happy I visited here, a very beautiful place and full of of cool history. I think the walk up to the castle is lovely too, and quicker than queueing for the train, pleanty of spots to stop if you're worried.
History can be displayed in many ways , here you get to see and walk around how the once Monarch and Presidents lived in the early days of Mexican history .
Not much to say as there is not too many to see in the world. Be preapred to be in shape if you ant to go all the way up but if you can do
