“2nd year in a row”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

This is my 2nd year with Eat Mexico, 4 tours in total, they have all been different and excellent. Street food tour with Natalia ( 2012, 2013)- is a wonderful way to learn about street food, Zona Rosa and mucho history and culture. Market tour and cooking lesson, Roma, (Lesley 2012) was very interesting and well organized. Market tour (Paco 2013) Centro was fascinating and not a part of the city most tourists would know, Paco knows and loves it well. Eat Mexico has been well organized, accommodated a peanut allergy and I would recommend them highly for getting a feeling for the endlessly fascinating food and culture of Mexico City.

“Excellent service, excellent experience”
Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

Our experience with Eat Mexico has been excellent right from the start. We contacted them to see if we could arrange a cooking class and Rebekah sorted it all out for us from our first email onwards. Her customer service skills are second to none and it was a pleasure to deal with her.

We did a market tour of Mercado Medellin with Paco in the morning which was interesting and fun as we learned a lot and got to taste some Mexican specialities. Next Paco drove us to the home of our chef/teacher Graciela who was a brilliant teacher. She was patient, knowledgeable and great company to spend 4 hours with. The recipe we made with her (Mole de Olla) was delicious and we came away from our day with Eat Mexico very satisfied. If you're in Mexico City and interested in food I couldn't recommend this highly enough.

“Mexican street food tour”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

From the moment I contacted Rebekah, and meeting our guide Natalia our Eat Mexico tour was fantastic! Natalia took us to a a variety of stands tasting tamales, tacos and a burrito that has me so spoiled I will not be able to order one back in the states! We also tasted fresh fruit sprinkled with chili powder and lime juice......refreshing and delicious! Natalia also explained the background of the foods we tasted, walked at a pace that never made us feel rushed! I would definitely try the other tours Eat Mexico offers should I return to Mexico City.

“Ultimate Mexican food experience!”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

We were a last minute booking and Eat Mexico booked us a Markets tour on a Sunday and accommodated all our needs.

We had the most incredible time and ended up rolling back to our hotel, we were so full.

We got to experience all different types of Mexican foods, whilst being immersed in the culture. Our guide Francisco de Santiago was amazing and also provided us with additional information about the history and culture of Mexico City.

This tour should be your number 1 thing to do when coming to Mexico!

“What a fun night!!!”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

I gave the Late Night Taco & Mezcal Tour to my husband as a gift. We moved to DF two years ago from Washington DC. Although, we have tried lots of amazing Mexican food over the last two years, this experience was one of a kind!!!! We walked away knowing things we did not know about Mexican food, sampled amazing tacos, and enjoyed drinking mezcal while getting to know neighborhoods of DF that we do not know well. Paco was fun, personable, and incredibly knowlegeable. I now want to do all of the tours offered by Eat Mexcio!
