“One of the best seafood restaurants for lunch in Mexico City”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2014

It is one of the best restaurants in Mexico City. Located in the best neighborhood in Mexico City. The food is excellent and their wine list is also very good. Definitely worth going for lunch, but reservations are necessary. Not for tourists wearing tennis shoes and shorts. It is a classy place.

“Best Seafood in Mexico City”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014

What make this place my favorite seafood restaurant is two things: first.- The manager Ruiciro that make your meal a dream come truth everything you ask is posible and perfect and always with a very high quality of flavor & service and second the freshness of their products always perfect as if the sea was 2 meters away from your table, best raw fish fish anyway you want it, best cooked seafood anyway you want it at the end always satisfaction.

“whatever you serve, don't make people sick!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2014

Punta Arena was one of the few higher-end restaurants that opened on Christmas Day in Mexico City. We were looking forward to this restaurant's Japanese-Mexico's fusion style. Unfortunately one of my sons, who ordered a medium-rare salmon, had a severe stomach problem the next morning. He couldn't eat normally for several days and had to stay in the hotel room to rest. I tasted every dish, but ate far less than my sons. The raw fish ceviche had a fishy taste to me. For the price of M$1400 (for 4 people), this restaurant really should not serve un-fresh fish!!!!!
