The hotel is conveniently located and very clean an modern. The services are excellent. We booked a tour through the hotel which turned out to be top of the line. All the restaurants in the hotel offer excellent food and service. Except for an overcharge incident I would give the hotel a well deserved 5 stars for comfort, convenience and reasonable price.More

Two nights for $300.00 us Dollars breakfast not included.
I Paid 300.00 us dollars for 2 nights and o sunday before I left the front desk told me that breakfast was not included after I had breakfast . I think that they need to have this information on the sheet that look up your room and name before you go have breakfast.

Very clean hotel, courteous and friendly staff, great food! room was very comfortable, excellent service, enjoyed the free breakfast, great environment, great food choices, very clean. Staff spoke English, which was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Mexico City.

Well located for the Reforma Experience
Good hotel with very good service, and everything you might need for a comfortable stay. They have lots of staff on hand so you never habe to wait very long to have any requests met. It’s fairly central as well so it doesn’t take long if you’re sticking to the centro area.

Excellent Location - helpful staff
Rooms are Large and well appointed, Breakfast was adequate. The Hotel itself is very modern and busy with a nice pool and Gym. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel is 5 mins walk from the town centre, so location is excellent.

First and Last Stay Ever! Search Elsewhere!
I completed my 1 night stay (26-27 Apr 2019) at the Barcelo Mexico Reforma which, overall, was an unpleasant experience. As a frequent visitor to Mexico City, never again will I stay at this hotel. Do yourself a favor; pay a few dollars more to stay at another “4-5 star” property as there are plenty of better options on Paseo de La Reforma.

Cons
Front desk staff: Specifically, Diana (heavy-set girl w/ glasses), was completely unprofessional in handling my request for a late check-out. Having booked my reservations through Priceline (also known as Expedia), the established check out-time was 1:00 pm. However, with a pompous attitude, Diana refused to extend our check-out beyond 1:00 pm despite the low occupancy rate (Sun. afternoon). I am fully aware that requests are not guaranteed...based on availability...yada...yada...and more yada, but it is all about how delivery affects the message. Hospitality 101.

Towels: Stained and tattered. Budget hotel equivalent.

Room Security: Door to our room did not secure properly. When reported to hotel staff, the initial response was, “There’s plenty of video surveillance cameras located throughout the hallways. Eventually, the issue was corrected.

Pro
Room Service: Upon late arrival, I ordered room service which was a pleasant experience. Tasty mixed appetizer plate and tuna melt delivered with friendly and efficient service.
