What a great find. I loved it from the first second I entered. The service is impecable and the rooms are really great. The breakfast is excellent, however they need to be trained how to do a true Italian cappuccino! The other negative is that the fitness only opens at 09:00. clearly unaceptable. However they provided me with a gymnastic mat for my room.
The bed is also a tick too soft. There are no carpets.

The staff is as well trained as any I have found. They promptly tended to all our needs and made us feel welcome. The TV had only a handful of English speaking stations and no on-demand programming, but that was only a minor inconvenience. The room was comfortable, tastefully decorated and quiet. Try to get a room in a huger floor if possible.

First of all, the location: The neighbourhood is friendly, nothing to worry about, lot's of stores for you to buy something for your loved ones, good food etc.
The staff: you ask, they will provide. Amazingly friendly, know a good deal and do not hesitate to recommend places.
The room: just beautiful. I have never seen anything like that. Felt really special just staying there.

Just finished a quick business trip to Mexico City and had a fantastic stay at Los Alcobas.

I has stayed before in Polanco, and found it again to be a perfect mix of day and evening activities. Beautiful Lincoln park, eclectic shops, beautiful restaurants. But the best part was Los Alcobas

The hotel is well-curated in all details. The room is modern and comfortable, with great finishes. The bed is just amazing; great sheets and mattress/pillow. All soft goods decadent. Leather paneled walls. Generous minibar with portions included in your room rate.

The bathrooms with slab marble, modern fixtures, great amenities.

Great storage, desk and chairs. Bose audio system integrated with bathroom. The service perfect to the last detail.

We also very much enjoyed the restaurant. A sensible breakfast included. For the evening, we joined for cocktails - and all were handcrafted and perfected. The "perfect gin and tonic" is a must.

All in all - not one detail unanticipated. Service was truly impeccable.

This may be the best hotel at which I have ever stayed in the world, and that is saying something. First, the location is ideal. The Polanco neighborhood is the Beverly Hills of Mexico City with virtually no crime, chic stores, cafes and restaurants all located within easy walking distance of the front door of this hotel. Second, the decor of the hotel and rooms was ultra-modern with every conceivable electronic convenience. Deep tubs. Shower with half dozen nozzles spraying you. Electronic controls of the blinds and curtains. You name it. The service was also nothing short of impeccable. Virtually all of the employees spoke good English; some flawless. They could not be nicer or more anxious to help. I cannot say enough about how helpful they were in every way. All in all, this hotel will enhance your stay in Mexico City which I believe now is one of the most under-rated tourist destinations in the world.

Room Tip: There is construction going on in front of the hotel right now but the double paned windows make it absolutely silent in your rooms facing Masaryk Street. Our room was on the fourth floor, but I don't think it makes much difference. I would request a room on the side street as the view may be slightly better.
