“Great and interestig building”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

Just in front of the palacio de Bellas Artes is a coffe shop on the top of the building from where you can have a an amazing view. Additionally is great if you can get it to the Palacio since inside is even better.

“Fantastic piece of history.”
Reviewed April 18, 2014

The architecture of this building makes it one of Mexico City best. When you visit the Zocalo and Cathedral downtown dont miss this master piece.

“Loved the performance”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

We saw the National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico here and had 4th row center seats for a very reasonable price. The performance was wonderful and the building is spectacular. Just the murals surrounding the various floors is worth a visit.

“The best Teather in Latin America, wonderful combination of art styles”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

The building itself with the mixture of art noveau, art deco, revolutionary murals, in general very eclectic is a piece if art.
There are always first class art exhibitions in its exhibition halls. It is the house of the National Folkloric Ballet with two or more perfomances per week -do not miss it-
For other performances like opera, ballet, sinfonic music etc check in the news papers.
There is a very good bookshok with books on Mexican art. The coffee shop is very good and very chic place to meet friends... Cross the street and go to the coffee shop in the Sears shop, infront of the Bellas Artes Palace to get wonderful views of the Palace and the square infront of it.

“A must see!”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

Beautiful murals (including from Diego Rivera) and lovely architecture await you in the is "palace". Pass by for a quick peek at least, and stay for a show in the main performance space or an exhibit if you can, but performances in the smaller spaces aren't much to behold.
