The architecture is so stunning to this building. No trip to Mexico City is complete without seeing this French-influenced opera house.

“Go if you like Deco”
Reviewed March 3, 2014

Generally I'm not one for "let's go look at the shiny old building'. Here however, it was a treat. The outside is interestng enough, but the inside was tremendous on two fronts. First, the Art Deco styling (a personal favorite) and two, the murals, in particular the Diego Rivera's, though all were well worth the view. Cost? Free. Can't beat that either.

“Most beautiful building in all Mexico City”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

This is for me, the most beautifull historical building in all Mexico City. Is a white palace with opera halls inside, painting galleries, etc. It's just amazing is a must if you are in downtown.
