The best thing about this hotel is that it's located directly inside Terminal 1, so it's extremely convinient if you have an early morning flight. However, that is the only good thing about this hotel.
Check-in and check-out were really slow, the room was worn and tired looking, tiny bathroom, breakfast was terrible. You have to use a key to open the mini bar, but for some reason the person who checked us in forgot to mention this. So after getting to our room and finding the mini bar locked we had to walk back to reception (those long winding corridors can be a bit confusing) and get the key - may not be a big deal to most people, but after a long flight I just wanted a cold drink and really didn't fell like walking back and forth between the room and reception just to get it. Next time I'll stay at the Marriot Courtyard.

Dear Katri0na:I appreciate your review of your recent stay at our hotel. I'm very sorry you had a disappointing experience with us and I have addressed the issue of informing guests about our mini bar and providing the key with our staff. Exceptional guest service is the foundation of our brand promise and your feedback will help us improve. Thank you once again for your comments.
Thank you,

This hotel is actually in the airport which makes it very convenient if over-nighting for an early flight. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the property was clean and comfortable. While it has almost all the amenities expected in a Hilton, I would say the decorations, exercise equipment, etc. lacks refinement considering the price of the room.

Overall I would stay again but would defintely check out the Courtyard adjacent to the airport.

This hotel occupies the third floor of Terminal 1, just a single floor. It is very convenient if you have an overnight or long daytime layover between flights (provided one or both arrive/depart in Terminal 1), but definitely NOT the place to stay if you plan to visit Mexico City or surroundings. We stayed overnight on a 24-hour layover between LAX and SCL, and again for a daytime stay on the way back. On the first occasion, we were in an executive suite, which was very roomy, comfortable, and had decent amenities. On the way back, we were in a standard King room, which was standard size, perfectly decent in most respects. The big negative is that the rooms are interior rooms, with no outside view or natural light, and the lighting in the ceiling of the rooms is fluorescent and really bothers the eyes. We wound up with headaches and had to open the curtains to let artificial light from the airport in, turn on a couple of floor lamps and occupy the room in dim lighting, or we would have been nauseous. In addition, when we arrived in the standard King room, it was frigid. We turned off the air conditioning, and then a foul sewer-like smell filled our room. We had to turn the ventilation system on for a while to clear the air, and then it was ok. The breakfast buffet in the small lobby restaurant offers a decent selection of fruit, breads, cereals and hot foods, and our lunch there on the second visit was good. Service was very polite and professional. Next time, if we have a similar layover, I will try the Camino Real directly across the street (and walkable) from Terminal 1 or the new Marriott Courtyard, but only after I check out the Trip Advisor reviews.

Room Tip: Get a room facing an indoor patio that allows a bit of natural light in through the ceiling.

Few hotels I use are IN the terminal. We arrived late. Nice to go right there. Room not amazing, but comfortable. We loved the breakfast. Stay again? Well, only if the rate were right. But honestly, had we gotten in earlier, Mexico City is SO much better than its reputation, we would have gone right into the city. Internet not working at all in our first room. Much better in next room (they were great about moving us!!) but the plug behind the desk was not working. Had to crawl on the floor to plug in. Oh, we loved the breakfast! Variety, and not the norm. Better!

I stayed at the airport Hilton with some business colleagues who had made the booking. The room was dingy, poorly furnished and depressing. Worse, I had to pay USD 200 for the pleasure, when five nights earlier I had stayed at the Marriott Courtyard hotel at the same airport for USD 80 including taxes and breakfast and it was excellent.

On the positive side the location is very convenient and the breakfast was OK but that doesn't make up for the price and the awful bedroom.
