This place is packed full of very interesting artifacts and information. We were there for hours and were engrossed. The free tour guide was brilliant. She conversed in Spanish and English and was so captivating with her tales and information. I would go back here again. The fountain in the courtyard was amazing.

One of the best museums I've been to -- great exhibits, very well organized, beautiful settings and style. I wish I could stay there longer.

I spent about 5 hours here, but could have spent many more. Mexico is such a diverse and culturally interesting country. Much of the writing was in Spanish, but there was some English too. They have gathered many treasures from around Mexico and it was delightful to see them and learn more about this country.

It is one of the most visit sites and an absolute essential visit.
But there is not audio tour to put things together. And most things are in Spanish. I would feel a national treasure should have multi linguistic audio tours- to give it flow and story like feel.
That is usual throughout the world. Bit disappointed by that- usually is spend 1-2 days in such vast museums. Here it got boring very quickly.

World class collection (of course), well curated, with historic/cultural context in English as well as Spanish. A wonderful history of Mexico from human beginnings. My only complaint is that there is SO MUCH here--the collection is so large and so complete--that it can get overwhelming. If you have less than a day, plan your visit carefully to make the most of your time.
