Very nice performance of Mexican Folklore. A must see and it is not that expensive, if have the opportunity to watch it at Bellas Artes, much better.

Gorgeous clothes, beautifully choreographed dances, all the sumptuous colors of Mexico. Held in the elegant Bellas Artes principal theater. Sit in the middle of the first row if you can; the orchestra separation wall disappears, sections of the orchestra rise like steps to the stage and you can see and be a part of everything. Can't wait to go back!!!

This was *fantastic*, our kids made us get the DVD and have already watched it again and again. The theater is possibly the most beautiful I've ever seen (with it's Tiffany stained glass curtain which when illuminated shows a setting sun). The dancing and live music were so much fun to watch and take in and the Palacio de Bellas Artes is itself also lovely. A don't miss in Mexico City!

Located in Bellas Artes, our large group was able to get great tickets close together for the show. The program gives the story and the musicians and dancers draw you into the music showcasing areas and time periods of Mexican history. I especially liked the one about the hunters and the deer. The dancer portraying the stag was excellent. One forgots that there was a man as he lithely moved exactly like a stag around the stage.

It was a colourful energetic extravaganza which gave a good overview of Mexican music and dance. We went on the Sunday morning en route to the airport - not many places offer such an event at such a time!
