I have stayed on several occasions in this hotel, either on private or business trips. The business section rooms are wonderfully equipped and the quality of service is superb. Although the business package includes a small breakfast buffet in a separate business area, do not miss the breakfast buffet on the first floor. It offers a wonderful variety of continental and Mexican dishes (tamales, chilaquiles, eggs,...) that can only enchant those who wish to discover the magic of authentic Mexican cuisine.

The renovated rooms are very nice. Rooms are spacious. Love the coffee maker (good quality). Very friendly staff and always eager to help. The hotel might be huge but you don't get the feeling of it inside. The quality of the room service is outstanding (prices reasonable). Love the Hyatt Regency!

Been staying here for years, when it was the Nikko and now the Hyatt. Quality is always great, nice big gym, and a large pool for a city hotel. The hotel is still under renovation but the lobby is back open so no real inconvenience and no noise. Recommend the concierge floors. The breakfast is perfect and if you want a light dinner, it is good too.

I have stayed here before when it was the Niko, but now it is the Hyatt. It is still a very nice, high quality hotel. They are renovating the lobby, but have put up sheet rock so you cant see or hear the construction. The Sushi bar is still the same high quality and as good as ever.

The concierge suggested a new restaurant nearby called Porfirio's and it was very good as well. The taxi service at the hotel that can be charged to the room was easy and safe.

The breakfast buffet is amazing with lots of super choices.

Over all a great stay.

Room Tip: ask for a high floor.

I stay in this hotel every time I am in Mexico City and it is always excellent. The hotel is going through a major renovation, so the check-in desk has moved twice. The bar downstairs is still closed, but things are getting back to normal. I love the place for its outstanding location. Walking around the hotel is always pleasant. I strongly recommend it to anyone staying in Mexico City.

Room Tip: Views of Chapultepec are a plus!
