“Great Park!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2014

This park is wonderful, huge, lots of green spaces and trees, it is the lungs of Mexico City. Lots of trails, a pond to rent row and paddle boats, the zoo, lots of vendors, the Castle up top......Though because of the altitude, I'd recommend you take the train up top to visit the castle....or if you walk and are not used to the altitude of DF, take it easy, go slow. Mexico City is located at 7200 ft above sea level.....Also stay away of the water based frozen treats.... I got a bad stomach bug from them as the water was probably contaminated.
Other than that, a great day's visit.

“Beautiful park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

Chapultepec park is really amazing, I go there at least once a month, you can go jogging, visit one of the different museums around, you can go to the zoo or just take a walk near the lake, it is a very good experience, free and with all the amenities that you can imagine, however one problem is the people, if you don't go early in the morning you will get amazed by the amount of people that goes there, it get crowded really fast so you have to take advantage of weekdays and mornings to get the full-experience. 100% recommended. there are hidden places on the park and you can visit them if you follow the roads and have enough time, there are fountains, lakes, a canadian totem, a "escuadron 201" memorial and even archeological places, all of these on the 1st section of the park, the other 2 sections have other attractions.

“Great place to jog”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2014

I've been to Mexico City 4-5 times and I love jogging around the inner roadway of Chapultapec Park each time I'm there. I usually go between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. when it's cool and the park is not crowded. The trees, people watching, vendors setting up, etc. are fun to see. My father in law lives about a mile down Reforma, so it's easy to get to the park. A great way to start the day in a very dynamic, huge city! If you are there for a run, consider taking 4 pesos to use the banos. Also, it's closed on Monday-----or at least it was the Monday I was there.

“waste of time”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2014

I don't know why I have been told to visit Chapultepec Park. It is crowded and there is nothing special to do / see. If I'd live in Mexico City, it could have been nice to spend an afternoon there. As a visitor,it was not.
