“Worth Checking Out”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

Chapultepec Park is Mexico City's answer to Central Park. It's big, lively, yet surprisingly serene. While there is a lot going on, for me it was a place to sit and relax in a bustling Mexico City. Take a ride over to La Feria, a theme park attached to the park, for some roller coasters and carnival-esque attractions. Overall, I liked visiting this park while in the city and would recommend checking it out to someone who would like to take a few seconds to sit and take it all in. Not for nothing, but the squirrels here are just a smidge overly aggressive in the way of wanting to be your BFF. They will crawl all over you and beg for food. Not as aggressive as say, seagulls, but just enough to put you off a bit. Good luck with them....

“Chapultapec park in Mexico city”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

Guys, if you are in Mexico - go and find this park. It's totally worth it. It's located not far from the city centre - 'Metro Chapultapec' or 'Auditorio' subway stations are your destination. It's a very good place to spend your time, feed squirrels (mind that it's forbidden there) and relax. You can also visit a really great museum in the Chapultapec Castle, which you can find right on the territory of the park. There you can see a lot of things connected with the history of the country. In order to get inside the Castle you will have to put your bags and backpacks in a security box.

“Beautiful park.”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

Beautiful place to do excercise, walk or have lunch with friends or with your couple. You can also go to the lake in small boats for two persons.

“A place to stroll”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

We go the park to let our son run around (he's two) and the wide open spaces are great for him and for us to keep an eye on him. There are plenty of vendors to get snacks/drinks and toys for kids. Wear comfortable shoes!

“Average park but the Castillo is great”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

The park really is average, they have been working hard to keep it clean and with season attractions. A Classic is the National Ballet performing the Swan Inside the park, check local listings.
You must go up and visit the Castle, beautiful, great view of the city, and really interesting history. You can also check local listings as Symphony Concertos are played at the palace.
You can walk on Reforma Venue, alongside the Chapultepec Fence, always displaying interesting sculptures, photographs and a variety of art.
