Liked everything, good and clear explanations about the history of the place and aztecs in general. It is amazing how much of the ancient history of Mexico was thoroughly erased in the name of the newly arrived gods.

This is the place were I have had the worst service in all of Mexico. They don't let you in if you have a backpack ( if you are a foreigner with a backpack I mean). They tell you to go pay for a locker, the lady at the desk was sending back everyone, because she didn't have anyspace left, she told us.. but why didn't they let you in?? Believe me I was asking myself the same question?? mostly because I saw all the nationals with their backpacks. Teach those security guards to be more courteous with tourists!

This was the first time we went to this Museum and the experience worth the sunbathing. The walk outdoors is very interesting, but the walk indoors is more. The design of the place allows you to see many things in a place not so big. Even the lights show you another perspective of several pieces. The only advise is prepare yourself with a hat, cap, umbrella, etc., the sun is merciless.

The Museum is exceptionally well done, it circles around the big plate recently excaved on site. It leads you through times and you end up looking at the big big plate. Well done.

The Museo del Templo Mayor offers a fascinating history of the original inhabitants of Tenochtitlan before European invasion and conquest. The portions of the temple that have been excavated and are viewable from outside are fascinating, as are the artifacts and history inside. Definitely a must see!
