“Worth eating there.”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Casa Bell location is excellent for business people, tourists and families. Service is impeccable and the food is worth the visit. The style is great especially on a nice day as you sit in a Mexican Patio surrounded by birds in their cages. The fountain provides and added pleasant murmur. It is also spacious enough so you are not bothered by conversations from other tables. I would love to return to Casa Bell on my next trip to Mexico. Bilingual staff make it easy for non-Spanish speakers.

“Nice courtyard, good Mexican food”
Reviewed July 21, 2012

It's a good place for business meetings if you are in the Zona Rosa area. It's apparently where the who's-who get a more "informal" meal. It has a wonderful courtyard for dining. They are famous for the "exotic" Mexican dishes such as escamoles (ants' eggs) and tacos de maguey (maggot, deep fried). I've tried their fish dishes quite a couple of times, though not outstanding, are good value for money.

Good ambience. Great food. Only problem was with an international credit card but that was quickly resolved.

“Old world service in the heart of the business district”
Reviewed September 1, 2011

Walk into Casa Bell and you will feel that you are in a different era: an old turn of the XX century house trapped in the middle of DF's financial district...The service staff is dressed in seer-sucker jackets, while the Captain styles a spify white blazer. Service is spotless & professional, and the menu includes specialties that were more common during the 1930's and 40's: make sure you try their fresh figs tart, it is to die for!
Beautiful interior courtyard, with fountains & birds singing (yes, in the heart of Mexico City!), and of course, the most cosmopolite of DF's locals.
