We are very well traveled, SPG platinum members and and have been to several other St Regis hotels around the world. This one very well might be one of my favorites. I had no idea to what to expect with Mexico City in general, after hearing it was unsafe and scary, but ultimately it was beautiful and I never felt unsafe there. This hotel was immaculate and beyond accommodating. Every floor was quiet so don't worry about noise even if you get a lower floor. It is beautiful and we loved every minute of staying there. J&G restaurant was great...had a burger, chips & guac and salad. Highly recommend.

Only complaint was when we called our butler for ice (and did so bc we were in a time crunch), it took about 35 min to get it :/ that's not ideal when you gotta hit the road. But other than that, it was amazing! Highly recommend, whether it's vacation, romantic, friends or business.

I had 4 rooms for business. I am a platinum member from SGP so I can put things on context. Rooms were as always looking good but no upgrades available which is always disappointing.

Me and my customers always worked late and have some drinks at the Patio. The last night they closed the bar and we asked for Room service which is 24 hrs and we requested to be brought to the patio. We asked if Patio was ok to be seated even without service and they say yes. Long story short, they say ok with patio and Room service but not Room service to the patio. I had to go to my room to bring the drinks down which I found it ridiculous. We lost about 20 minutes arguing until someone else came and they told me as a big favor" they would do it only once. Let me remind you this is a St Regis, one of the 2 best hotels in the city along with the four seasons.

Also, the restaurant has always had issues service (on the 3rd floor). Other than that, overall service was great.

Room tip: Rooms on the corner aiming to the Chapultepec Castle are always bigger

We went to Mexico City for a wedding and stayed a long weekend at the St. Regis. The service, food, room, &property were all 5 star. Our butler was attentive and helped us with our wedding attire. The bars and restaurants were very high quality. I live the location , having formally lived in the DF, it is convenient to all of the major tourist attractions...the park, Chapultepec castle, Polanco, restaurants, etc. We will be back for another fun weekend soon!

This was my second stay at St. Regis Mexico City and everything was just as perfect the second time around. There is something about the St Regis where they get just everything right. Service is top notch and that in itself merits 5 stars. There isn't one item or travel need they didn't think of. Each floor has an assigned butler. The rooms are large and furnished with quality furniture and linens. You will find everything you need and more in the room. The location is excellent and the hotel is incredibly safe. Can't go wrong with this option. Happy Travels!

This hotel and the people there are amazing! We were upgraded to an incredible suite with great views over the plaza and a living room that was incredible. The appointments in the room, the amenities and the design are top notch - I only wish my house was so nice! Milton at the concierge really took care of us, in fact he brought a tent into the room for our kids to sleep in. Yes, a tent in a suite!
From the lovely welcome note to the gorgeous bathroom, with every detail you can imagine, this hotel was perfect. The breakfast the next day was absolutely the most beautiful buffet I've seen in a long time - if you are local, go there for Sunday brunch and you will not be disappointed. Finally, the flower service here is beautiful, with the most creative displays in every angle, room and common area. What a hotel!! Too bad we were only there one night, but I plan to come back!
