I expected this hotel to be nice, given the positive reviews by other travelers on this site. It is clean, well-located, with congenial service and great amenities. My friend and I stayed in one of the two-bed queen suites for five nights. The beds were super comfortable. Unlike another recent traveler, we had no problems with either the hot water or the air conditioning systems. We were just two blocks away from the Zocalo where we witnessed the moving yet fun celebration of the Dia de los Muertos. (Day of the Dead). We enjoyed dinner one night at Fischers, the seafood restaurant attached to the hotel, and bought some delicious pastries at Garabatos, the other restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast was very good, with enough variety so that each day we stayed, there was something different served. We always felt safe there and found the concierge named Alejandro to be especially helpful. (although every member of the staff were super friendly and helpful). I would definitely stay there again!

It fits perfectly to Mexico city - where history is layered so as this former monastry building. The room was comfortable, good bed, choice of soft or harder pillows, had a complimentaly bottled water which is a nice gesture. Unfortunately windows do not open and there was no bathtub in my room. Staff are friendly and helpful, very conveniently located. As for the breakfast, they had fresh fruits such as apples, bananas and watermelon - very important for the vegetarians! No soy milk. They serve tea and coffee all day (self service) at the breakfast corner, even though coffee machine is also in your room. There is a 24 hour business centre with 2 internet terminals (with printer) which made my life a lot easier. For the kids, they have their own playroom next to the business centre, although I did not see any during my stay.

Stayed with my wife for honeymoon between Oct. 20 - Oct. 22 and had a great time!
This hotel is fantastic, clean, elegent, in the center of Mexico City and the best of all is the service.
I would like to mention Alice and Alejandro who were always welcoming, but a special thumbs up goes to Eric who helped us out a lot during our stay and made our visit a lot more fun.
I would definetly come back and reccomend to anyone visiting Mexico City!
