This hotel was exactly what I was hoping for and expecting. The staff were great and spoke PERFECT english! It was definitely worth paying the extra money for the breakfast to be included - the buffet had a GREAT selection of food: hot, cold, bread, waffles, fruit, juices!!!! It was delicious! The location was also perfect! Within walking distance of so many great sites, close to the Metro for cheap travel to other sites of Mexico City. It was amazing and I would definitely stay there again if given the opportunity. Love it!

Great hotel for a great price! Super nice staff, clean, comfortable and awesome location. The adjacent pastry shop/restaurant and Fisher's seafood joint are pretty darned good too. There's a 24-hour pharmacy right next door for all your needs plus loads of businesses lining the streets.

The complimentary breakfast and free all day coffee just can't be beat. I absolutely loved the terrace too! I highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the 5th floor since that's where the terrace is! It's nice to walk out...

We stayed for 3 nights in January 2013. While our room was a little old-fashioned, both the room and shower room were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was pleasant and coffee and tea were always available. We would like to highly recommend the staff (including Erick, Ericka, Rhode and Martin) who were at all times courteous and helpful. While very central for sight-seeing, the interior of the hotel remained calm and restful. We would be happy to stay there again.

Really great hotel, very clean, staff is very helpful. The breakfast was superb as well as the sea food restaurant in the lobby. Excellent location, just minutes away from the metro in Zocalo. I would definitely recommend to everyone!

I took my mom to D.F. for our first trip to Mexico, and I'm very glad I chose this hotel! Good price for the area (so close to the Zócalo) and really friendly staff, many of whom speak English (perfect for my non-Spanish-speaking mother). Martín purchased excellent seats for us at the Palacio de Bellas Artes for the Ballet Folklórico show, as well as a taxi to & from, although we could have easily walked (laziness, ha).
The free breakfast had more food than I thought, their coffee was great, the rooms were clean (a little small but not bad), and the lobby was gorgeous. Wifi was a little slow during the night when everyone was updating their Facebooks but the free connection was a nice touch (and it even reached to the two restaurants downstairs). Definitely look into this hotel if you'd like to stay in the Centro Histórico!

The hotel is historic and charming with all the comforts and updates which make for a modern hotel. The rooms are small, the Lobby gets packed for breakfast and the gym is tiny with no pool area. That being said, the hotel is located in a great neighborhood, within walking distance to presidential palace. The roof top patio has a good view of the town, the historic details blend well with the high end finishes that the hotel put in when modernizing the building. Large moldings and solid wood core doors among other high end finishes. The hotel is a great value and on the higher end of a Hampton Inn product, most Hiltons don't have finishes this nice in the this city.

I cannot think if anything that is not good about this hotel . The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and professional. There is free coffee and tea served all day and the free wireless internet, is great. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the amenities, including a safe and an excellent iron.
