“A great place once”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2012 via mobile

I went to lunch today with my parents. The service was good but the food wasn't what used to be. I'm fairly disappointed, my dad and I ordered the duck Kafka and it was very dry. Then, all of us ordered the cheese crepes with blueberry sauce and the crepe was burnt making it hard to enjoy.
I don't recommend it anymore.. Waste of money. This restaurant far from being among the top , it has got into the bottom.

“The best Polish restaurant in Mexico City”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2011

This has been my favorite restaurant in Mexico City for over 20 years. I have always gotten great service, great food and an enjoyable time there.
When I'm back in Mexico City this is the one restaurant I try to get to.

Don't pass up the Polish Vodka and if you love duck, you'll love it here.

“Great food! (doubt that Pope John Paul really ate all that!!!!)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2011

Great joint! ... great food ... the place looks really old though . There is a special "Pope" Menu that supposedly Pope John Paul the second ate when visiting Mexico in the eighties .... If you ask me I doubht he ate all that ... but whatever .

I specially reccomend the duck , the Golonka with chilled polish flavored vodka (a speciality of the house)

“Delicious food in a beautiful location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2008

I visited in early December, 2008. This is a wonderful restaurant in a beautiful old building. Granted, it was a bit odd to have Polish food in Mexico City but the duck, which is the speciality was delicious. I would recommend especially for business travelers as it's a bit pricey.
