“Excellent authentic restaurant with music.”

Go to the one in Polanco. This one has live mariachi and its great fun. The place is loud and lively. Food is very good. Service attentive. Very yummy margaritas - they are enormous so order the regular.

“The Mexican response to the Munich Hofrbraeuhaus.”
Reviewed September 1, 2012

Well, I might be exaggeriting a bit in the title. But this restaurant is as "typically Mexican" as possible. Interestingly, it is not only touristy. Yes, many tourists go there, but also many Mexicans. The foold is very Mexican, you have a large choice. Margaritas are gigantic (but a bit too sweet to my taste, and not the best in town), but the live music, in particular the house Mariachi, are excellent. You can get very bad Mariachi bands in town, but this one is really good, and they move from table to table, and do not linger tooo long either (otherwise you would not be able to chat with your partner / this a place to take friends or to go with a group of people...)

“Good enviroment, good food”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

This is a very good vibe mexican restaurant! at 9 pm starts a Mariachi show, before that you can enjoy a very nice Yucatan Music. The prices are not extremly expensive and the kitchen is very Mexican and very Tasty! The service also its Superb.

“Nice place, a bit expensive for the food”
Reviewed July 12, 2012

It is Mexican food, good quality, good service, but its value for the price can be better.

You can get some live music, some times Mariachis are in the hours. the environment is a bit typical/traditional, yet, elegant. Deserts are creatively served

There is valet for your car

“A really fun experience with good food too”
Reviewed July 4, 2012

We found it well worth taking a 25 minute taxi ride from the city entre to this restaurant. It is a large modern restaurant, interestingly decorated, and the staff were welcoming and there was entertainment too. We went on a Saturday and there was a Mariachi band who were great. Maybe we were also lucky because there was a large group of diners who seemed to know all the songs and made it a real party atmosphere, dancing gthrough the restaurant. And the modern Mexican food was very good...My wife had a Tamarind Margarita cocktail which she said was almost worth the trip on its own. She had been to this restaurant on a trip last year and we returned because she really enjoyed it then too.
