Imagine a luxurious farmhouse restaurant in the middle of megalopolis, surrounded outside by high-speed roads, large avenues and tall skyscrapers. However once inside, be prepared for a surprise: the old farmhouse is a quiet place with a large garden and numerous rooms for all kinds of private gatherings, and a large restaurant with an exquisite menu. This was no common hacienda, but one of the largest and richest in the old Mexico. The place is already worth the visit and the menu a real treat, with Mexican dishes of all kinds and also international cuisine. Try the “huitlacoche” soup (made of a black mushroom that grows on corn), the “filete tampiqueña” or the “chiles en nogada” just to have a Mexican flavour at the right place. Take your time and spend a whole afternoon at this place, just eat and relax. Don't miss it. You will thank this advice.
