Have eaten here three or four times over the years and always enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Love their enchiladas Tacuba. Maybe a bit pricey but still fun.

I was there on a weekend, have to say that locals seem to love it cause it was pretty full, we saw the menu but we wanted only a coffee or chocolate, we ate white chocolate berry cake and cheese cake, they were delicious and the "spanish chocolate" was excellent (don't try this one if you're not a sweet fan as me),as I said food was not so bad, the atmosphere is the real thing, nevertheless the service was not so good, waitresses seem to be all the time in bad mood. It's a must if you're in DF.

This was a friendly, informal, moderately priced restaurant. It had a Mariachi band for entertainment. Food was good and very ample!
Restaurant is in a building with an interesting history. Be sure to ask!

This was recommended by other travelers at our hotel breakfast and we were also very taken with the food and atmosphere. I loved the blue and white tiles decorating all the walls. I heard it was once a nunnery. I had the tortilla soup and would like to try to replicate it at home. The food was very good and the restaurant was an easy walk from the Cathedral in Zocalo.
