“Surprisingly few places for early am coffee”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

Not many places arevopen at 8am on the jardin for just a coffeee. The usual corporate fare served by smiling and helpful Mexicans. Adjacent sit down area a big plus but NO TOILETS.

“Second best coffee in town”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

For some reason coffee is simply not a Mexican thing...
The only 2 places in Guanajuato where I would drink coffee are
- First choice: Cafe Tal (amazing hot chocolate, amazing croissants, amazing espresso)
- Second choice: Starbucks (nothing spectacular, but doesn't have coffee grains swimming in your so-called espresso)

“If you have to have a Starbucks, here it is”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

Close to the Jardin and very busy, this will fill the bill if you have to have a fix. It should carry some Mexican coffees to buy or cups that say San Miguel. Otherwise, it's just another Starbucks...

“Spacious”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

All Starbucks are the same on staff attention and products, very good.
That at Guanajuato is very well located, spacious, and really comfortable with couches.
Good option to take a break and have an Espresso (that is a cofee; sorry for the "coffee deserts").

“What a beautiful location and patio!”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

One of the most scenic starbucks - liked it very much! The building is very exciting, in an old colonial building. And the attached patio is is green and cosy and quiet - perfect for doing your tarea if you doing a Spanisch language course (not a condition ;)
