Well conserved building , beautiful construccion , very interesting inside and out.

Yes, you do have to pay to get in, but they've got to keep the place up, after all. Originally for opera, the Teatro Juarez is now host to many musical events and plays. You can sit in the original chairs and observe all of the stunning decorations and architectural detail. Be sure and see the separate men's and women's drinking lounges, as well as the boxes used for widows as well. It has been amazingly cared-for. Gorgeous!

Gorgeous theater, everything in here was designed with luxury in mind. It is only of the most invaluable pieces of living art in Guanajuato

the outside is classical building, could be US Supreme court. pleasantbar.Heatre proper is heavily Spanish influenced, in good repair with fine aoustics.. forget a tour, go to a concert!

This place is awesome. It is a beautiful building, carefully preserved. They are open from 9-7pm for visitors. Take a walk around it, the funicular to the top of the hill departs right behind the Teatro Juarez.
