Stayed at this hotel January 2004, mostly walked the mile or so to downtown, but taxis charge about $3 dollars for the ride. The pool was out of bounds due to repairs. The room was very comfortable andcozy. This is a family hotel but even so it's still very quiet. Has a small bar serves yankee style drinks for less than most other hotels. The restaurant hasa good value restaurant with all you can drink freshsqueezed orange juice at breakfast. I pre-paid my hotel visit at a Guadalajara travel agency and wastold I would have swimming pool access. Felt rather cheated when I couldn't use the pool but stilla better than okay deal.
