“Everything Don Quixote”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

When this museum was opened, a delegation from Spain was in attendance. The museum was a gift to the people of Guanajuato from a refugee from the Spanish Civil War who had found solace and strength in the writings of Cervantes. Artists from all over the world were invited to submit work with the theme of Don Quixote -- thus, good, bad and ugly all with a connection to Don Quixote can be found in this musuem.

“Surprisingly enjoyable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2013

I am not a big Don Quixote fan and I was hesitant to visit this museum, but my girlfriend wanted to see what it had to offer, and she was right. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed my visit, seeing all the different varriations and expressions of Don Quixote. But what I enjoyed most was the view form above of a painter painting a hugh mual of his interpretation of Don Quixote to loud rock music.

“Great small museum”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2013

We ran into this museum by accident. As a great fan of Don Quixote, I was pleasantly surprised that my admission was free that day. It is small (took about 30-40 minutes), but I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of sculptures, paintings.

“Impressive collection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013

I'm not a fan of Don Quijote but the collected art here is superb.
From murals to sculpture, from all over the world. There are also other exhibits that can delight.
