I mean, a lot of Italian, what yummy food at a very reasonable price.
Service supreme and walking distance from Guadalajara Plaza Suites.

“An all time favorite”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

Ever since I can remember, going to La Trattoria has been a treat for me. I've tried many of their dishes but my favorite by far is the Parmigiana with a side of Fettuccine Alfredo. The Antipasto selection and complimentary salad bar are very good. The restaurant is usually pretty full, so if you want to avoid the wait try to get there early or make a reservation (and be there on time)!
Great food at a fair price!

“Good food a little be noisy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2012

We went this night to La Trattoria, food was good and a good price too, perhaps because today is Saturday we have a lot of noise, service are good and people are pending of customers about suggestions.

“OK But not worth a special trip”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

If you're in the neighborhood, as I was, and looking for an upscale ambiance for lunch, this may be your place as long as you're not picky as to food quality. The food is not as bad here as a few have suggested, but not nearly as good as many claim. I tried the combination plate (lasagne, spaghetti bolognese, and fettucine alfredo). The food arrived barely lukewarm and just not very tasty. I rarely add salt to food, but in this case it helped. The portion was modest but satisfying. The included garlic toast was an unexpected extra. The salad bar (included) was also ordinary, but fresh and the dressings looked house-made. Plates on the salad bar were warm, as was the glass served with my beer. No wines are available by the glass and the bottled wines seemed pricey to me (around $30). At the prime time for a weekday lunch hour (about 3 pm), there was a half-hour wait. The host and server were friendly, and the restaurant has wi-fi.

“One of our locals favorite...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2012

We really love this Italian Restaurant. It is simply great!

My preferred dish is Shrimp a la Diabla with Fettuccine Alfredo. By far my favorite!
My wife love La Trattoria Combination, which contains Fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna and Spaghetti a la Bolognesa.

Pizzas are gourmet and excellent as well as the Salmon. The Salad bar is small, but very fresh and good. The dressing are yummy!

TIP of the Day: If you arrive at 3pm or 10pm it tend to be very crowded, mainly with locals. Specially on Saturdays and Sundays. However, if you just arrive a 1 or 2pm for Luch or 8pm for Dinner, you'll find a very good table!

BTW, this restaurant is a great value for your pocket. Without wine, you'll be spending between $80 to $120 pesos per dish including salad bar.
