We stayed here twice because it was fine and easy and we just needed a bed for sleeping the second time. Nothing special though.

Breakfast a bit rubbish, rooms are comfy and pretty good really (we had private rooms). Bathrooms smell bad and something is seriously wrong with the taps! Wifi really good. Cleanliness just average hostel standard. Free water (yay!)

Location good and staff awesome.

But ... The first time we turned up they didn't have our reservation (made thru booking.com so probably that site's issue but hey) and the room rate was 120 pesos more than the booking.com quote. After a chat the lovely staff met us halfway (thanks!) But then the second time we specifically asked not to be in room #1 because it was so noisy and guess where we ended up. The room has a weird open window to the entrance of the hostel (can't be closed) so we were kept awake all night by the very loud doorbell, the buzzer, general foot traffic etc - and then at 530am the morning staff member turned on the TV (loud and right outside the non closable window). We had the same problem with that room the first time we stayed and I am most def NOT a light sleeper, so word of warning, stay away from that room. We also stayed in room 3, it was sweet, no problems at all.

So .. It's fine but nothing great and don't stay in room 1!

The location is great. It is in centro and just 10 minutes away from the cathedral and the historical centro. The walk to bus terminal vieja (buses to tequila and teuchitlan) was around 20 minutes. We took a taxi to the airport in early morning and it cost $280. There were great restaurants around the hostel. The only downside was that the hostel was quite far away from all the good clubs of the city haha.
The staff was helpful and provided all the information we needed for transportation and attractions. The hostel itself organizes a great variety of tours but we didn't have a chance to join them.
The room was clean and the bathroom was acceptable. The common area was spacious and beautifully decorated. There were a lot of seats and a pool table. A great place to meet friends from all over the world!

The location is great!
it is close to EVERYWHERE that you need to see around Guadalajara.
The staff are super nice and super helpful!
Love the TWO hammocks, cuz if one is taken, you can always be on the other one!
Strongly recommend this place! would live here again without a doubt!
most importantly, you live right in the CENTER of EVERYTHING!

This was a good hostel in an excellent location. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, with questions, advice, organising tours for us, etc. The rooms were pretty good and the beds reasonably comfortable. No complaints. They were also extremely good about the fact that we accidentally got our dates wrong and turned up a day later than we'd booked

I had a really nice stay at the hostel. I chose this one as it was close to the city centre. The staff was very helpful with finding nice places to eat out or getting to the airport. I highly recommend the hostel for tourists and travellers :)
