This place has good reputation. However, the night we went with guests, we couldn't get service for more chips, tortillas, or drinks. Food was lukewarm and expensive.

This little restaurant in Guadalajara is definitely worth heading to. The atmosphere is really cool with its indoor/outdoor dining concept. Highly recommended in the evening as it looks onto a park.
The food itself is spectacular by all standards. It is a bit expensive by Mexican standards, but completely worth it. Last time I ate here, I had the asparagus risotto. Unbelievable!
Make sure to stop here on each visit to GDL.

We ate at Sagrantino last time for the first time and consider ourselves lucky to have found it. The architecture of the building is unique and beautifully contemporary and the food is delicious and beautiful too. At our table of five, three of us enjoyed the rack of lamb and it was excellent. Great wait staff and service even though the place was very busy. We had 8 PM reservations and the restaurant filled up moments after we sat down. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but well worth the price of the check. We'll be back soon.

Have been looking forward to visiting this restauant for awhile. Guadalajara is not DF, and there are few restaurants that can compare to the fine dining of DF but last nights dinner at Sagrantino proves that GDL is finely presenting fine dining in a world class way. We were a party of 5, all world traveled and appreciate and expect fine food and service and NONE of us were disappointed by the flawlessy executed dishes, service and atmosphere. The design and interior is, IMHO, beautiful. The mix of steel, wood, concrete, glass and contera creates a modern twist on classic Mexico...Even though you are inside, it feels as though you are dining al fresco on a patio...The food: I started with the shrimp with bell peppers, onion, lime sort of ceviche style on tortillas that was spectacular...Just spicey enough to make you want another bite..Fantastic! Others had soups that looked delicious, beautiful presentation and well recieved by my friends...Great recommendation on an excellent Argentinian Malbec. Main course 3 of us had Rack of Lamb that was excellent. Cooked perfect, very tender, amazing flavor accompanied by perfectly fried potatoes that were golden, hot and simply prepared....The fish looked beautiful as well..The service was excellent, with very attentive service yet not overbearing. Everyone we encountered was friendly, gracious and attentive to the customers...Most reviewers have never worked in this business, but having been a past owner and worked in restaurants, clearly the owners have a passion for the business and are doing an amazing job here. The price is very reasonable for the amount and quality of the food that you experience. It is a wonderful, lively atmosphere, with a beautiful outdoor dining patio and a welcome addition to a few really great restaurants in GDL. I will most definitly return and suggest Sagrantino as a MUST visit for any residents and visitors...

I live in Guadalajara, so I know there’s always a hot restaurant to go that normally won’t be around enough to become a classic. I hope this is not the case, as I’d love Sagrantino become a tradition in Guadalajara. The menu has an option for every kind of appetite, from a fresh nice salad, to an exquisite dessert, along with a great wine cellar that will turn a good dinner to an excellent soirée. I’m proud of having this option in our city, a restaurant that combines a trendy spot with a place where you’ll really enjoy whatever you have. I recommend the warm chocolate tart, an invitation to sin without regrets.
