because we both like Diego Rivera and Frieda Kahlo - and this restaurant features a pool with a mosaic by Diego Rivera. I know, this is not why you go to a restaurant, it just adds to your feelings and the atmosphere of the place.
The restaurant was formerly known under the name of "Gaia", it changed owner and name some time before our arrival.
It has a very nice setting, is pretty quiet inside (the town itself is certainly not), and the owner and Diego Rivero have known each other for quite some time.
We always assumed Mexican food being rather spicy - theirs is not and we also had to add a pinch of salt. It may be that they treat their Mexican clients differently. So -- everything we ate and everything we drank was excellent and worth its money. We would have come more often, had we known the place earlier.
Give it a shot, it is a lovely place with good food and beverages.
