Our host at the villa we are staying at recommended Agave as the number one restaurant to dine at. She was right! Leo, the owner and waiter, ensured that everything we put between our lips was perfection. He made the sauces and over sees all of the cooking. He also buys all of the food for the day in the morning from the local fishers and market. I had the chicken with red mole sauce, delicious! and my date had the shrimp wrapped in a delicate swath of bacon with a green (not spicy) chilli sauce. Picante! We plan to go back.
We recommend that you seek out this restaurant that is called Agave, not El Agave.
